Arizona is burning! Three nights, three states and God has surprised us every night. About 25 people came and gathered in the amazing back yard of Tim and Mary Beth Schannep . The above picture is the view we had of Tucson, it is impossible to describe. Their teenage kids invited many of their friends from high school and church. These are the kids I believe God sent us for! I kept hearing the word “strategic” as Colton began leading us in worship.
Pastor April Briscoe from Shawnee had prophesied that Tucson would be a refueling station for our team for the amazing things God was getting ready to do in San Francisco, SHABA!!!!!! She was right on as usual. We were prayed and prophesied over almost as much as we prayed and prophesied. The Schannep home is truly an oasis in the desert. Even now, most of our team is sitting around their pool or swimming before heading out to Phoenix to meet God’s own hit man Roger “Shaba” Joyner!
The overall message delivered to the Tucson troops seemed to be that the seed was not dead. Dave Fritch shared that,
“ God was planting the seed of Faith in their hearts and it carried the DNA of Revival. God chose to plant this seed in the young people of Tucson and that they would bring Revival to the older generation of believers that were tired, frustrated, and even hopeless.”
Every stop on our journey is increasing the team’s faith. God is showing us over and over that He is real and we have really been commissioned and sent by Him as ambassadors to these cities. It is humbling and honestly it’s freaking me out a little. Our team is thinking with one mind, speaking with one voice. Last night, three of the team members give a young man (who by the way was baptized in the Holy Ghost!) the exact same word at three different times during the night. We were not aware of this until we were recapping after service.
The night before last in Hobbs NM, two of the team members prophesied over the church, (word for word) what had been prayed out before the service by two other team members. The two who prophesied were not in the room or anywhere near the room when these two things were prayed out. I asked God, “What is going on, what are you preparing us for? “Immediately and clearly He answered, “I am preparing this team to raise the dead.”
To You, God, we say, Yes and Amen!
