Detroit, Worship, and the Intro

What's up, guys? This is Josh Roman here. I've been assigned to update the blog online to let everybody know how the Northeast Team is doin'.Good news is, we haven't hit any huge issues yet. Praise God! He put together a great group of people. Our team is getting together like we're old friends. God's keeping arguments and grumpiness away, and we've already bonded together. Tonight was our first official worship of the trip, up here in breezy beautiful Detroit. God moved hardcore! I think everyone on our team had God do something to prepare us for the rest of the trip! It was quite legit, as we Colorado kids say.And our host family is amazing! Nothing like a home-cooked meal and a nice comfy couch to sleep on.So I figure that I should introduce our team, so that I won't have to bother with that later.

Our fearless leaders, Tracy and Bethany. Tracy is legit, and I promise you that she's only 29. We established that. Bethany is our lovable-but-gullible finances officer. If that's a real term. Ahem. Both great people. woo.

Rob Bray is my bud from Westminster, CO. He's essentially a modern-day Paul. Or something. But he's freakin legit.

Joe Lewin is my other Colorado Comrade. He is our prayer warrior. Love him. He's like a rock. You can count on him. Also he's Jewish. Yay God's original people!

Joe Rosario is my Puerto-Rican guitar-playing broha. He's got a good story and a crazy good love for people and for God. Good kid. Even better servant.

Oly..Perez? I think that's her last name. But I digress. She is our photographer girl. And a little bundle of energy. One of the most entertaining people to talk to. Our trip would be boring without her for sure!

Efe is our lovable, cheerful african-american friend. She is so encouraging and loving. And the girl's got soul! Freakin schweetness.

Rachel is a girl from Roanoke, Virginia. She's a homie, cuz Virginia is feakin tight. Don't know her well, but she's legit, cuz I can tell she's got love for God like none otherCameron, I'm going to designate our official white guy who rocks. Lord knows he's got it hard, cuz he's done the bulk of the driving so far. Can't wait to hear what he can do with a guitar.

And finally, I am Josh "Froman" Roman. As you may guess, I have a fro. I'm the goofball who always tries to find humor to keep people's spirits up, and I will be honest, I am very excited for what God is gonna do on this crazy trip, and on the other wagons too.

Keep us in your prayers! Prayer can move mountains. And I think God is in the mood for some mountain-movin'. Pray, love, and never give up. That's all for today! :)
