WOW!!!! God is so crazy! When we left Oklahoma on friday night at 2am, He gave us just enough strength to get there due to not sleeping because of the awesome worship we had that night. We showed up in Toledo Ohio around 6:30pm just in time to head over the The Greater Toledo House of Prayer. When we were in the car, we asked God how he wanted to encounter His people, what was on his heart.... all of us got similar things that he wanted to show people. One thing He wanted to show was his passion for his sons and daughters, and one of our team members got that there would be random people coming in and not knowing why. Later, when we began worship, all of the people began to want and declare unity among everyone, prophetic prayers were being prayed over individuals to where God touched them in a mighty way and caused them to weep. One lady was so touched she gave $300 to The Burn!!! Sure enough God told us right, we had random people just showing up and being prayed for! The leadership at the place was so awesome and welcoming that it was no problem! Even family members of one of are team mates showed up when they said they weren't coming! God can do anything at anytime! We were immensely blessed by the leadership there. Their desire and passion for Jesus was so evident, that you couldn't help but experience the joy that just emanated from them. Holy Toledo! It's coming to pass! God's stirring up a nation and Toledo is just more evidence of His faithfulness..
Our drive to Maine was beautiful. Several of those on our team have never been to this section of the US and were certainly not disappointed. We've been given many opportunities to minister in the most random settings, like the tollbooths for one. We arrived late at night to Waterville, Maine and were warmly received by Jaimie Dixon and his leaders. The next morning we went to a beach in Acadia with Jaimie where we got to rock climb to a cave. Song of Solomon 2:8-14 came to mind ;). We then returned in the evening to hang out at a bonfire with some of the leaders of different ministries in the area. It was so much fun and felt like a family reunion. Tonight is The Burn and we are stoked to go and worship with our fiery brothers and sisters, and greatly desire to see others encounter Jesus either for the first time, or in a fresh new way!
